Pottery Blue and White Cup Workshop

Join in the creative vibe of Twizel arts festival and create your own unique ceramic cup 

You'll make a hand-built cup, decorating your piece with a motif/patterns of your own design and then paint your motifs and patterns with blue underglaze. 

After the workshop, your pieces will be bisque fired and professionally glazed with a clear glaze, then fired again. Your finished  cup will be ready to collect from Twizel 6 weeks later (collection time and place will be emailed to you).

Please note: Images shown are examples of previous students' work. While your tutor will guide you through each step of the process, every piece will be unique. Variations in clay, texture, and glaze finish are part of the charm of handmade ceramics.

Saturday 26 Sept | 1.30 – 4:00 PM

Feel free to leave once you've finished your pieces, or stay and enjoy the creative atmosphere.

Cost:
$90 per person

Includes all materials, expert tuition, glazing, and two firings.

What to Bring

• A cloth apron (if you have one)
