Who doesn’t enjoy serving a fresh salad in a beautiful handmade bowl with a matching dressing pourer? In this workshop, you’ll create your own hand-built salad bowl and either a small dressing pourer or a coordinating side bowl - perfect for vinaigrettes, toppings, or nibbles. No prior experience is needed. Once your pieces are dry and fully fired, we’ll let you know when they’re ready to collect. All materials and firing are included—just bring your curiosity and maybe a friend or family member to join the fun!
Workshop Description
In this session, you’ll learn the simple and versatile technique of slab building. You’ll shape and form a small salad bowl along with your choice of a dressing pourer or a smaller side bowl. After firing, your pieces will be finished in a timeless white glaze, giving them a clean and elegant look.
