Create something beautiful and useful. Whether it becomes a kitchen utensil holder, herb planter, toothbrush cup, or your new favourite handmade mug -this workshop is all about crafting a piece you’ll reach for every day.
What You’ll Make
In this relaxed, hands-on session, you’ll design and build your own ceramic cylinder vessel or mug, using simple slab-building techniques. You’ll learn how to shape, join, and refine your form to create a strong, functional piece.
Add your own personality with carved or textured details. Your work will be glazed in a soft glossy white, with any carved details revealing the warm, toasty clay beneath.
No experience needed
Perfect for beginners or anyone wanting a creative morning with clay.
NB: Images shown are previous students’ interpretations. Your tutor may guide you in a slightly different direction depending on the clay and glaze options available on the day.
