Group Christmas Celebration ! - make a tree 'T' light

This workshop is for a group booking of up to 8 persons ($70)pp. If you require more spots than this then please contact me with the your preferred date (select from below) and numbers. I can take up to 12 people in one session. 

These trees will make any Christmas feel warm and joyful! Adding light and happiness to your home as a Christmas table centrepiece, or mantle scape. Perfect in daylight and glowing by night with an LED tea light (not included). These individual unique trees make perfect gifts, for someone else or for you! 

Workshop description

Come and join in a Christmas themed, fun, group pottery workshop. In this workshop all attendees will each create one or two (size dependent), hand built Christmas tree table decorations using the simple technique of slabbing. Get creative and add additional feature shapes to really make your tree festive! Finally choose your own accent of colour on top of a white glossy glaze to really make your pieces memorable. No previous experience necessary. Once your items are dry and fully fired (4 wks later), your group organiser will be able to collect them from CAC.  

NB# Images are previous students interpretations. Your tutor may guide you in a different direction (clay and glazes offered).

Venue:

CAC( Climate Action Campus) Rm E5 Enviro Art and Clay, 180 Avonside Drive, Avonside, CHCH - the group organiser will be sent a map and instructions of how to find us about a week prior to your workshop.

Available Dates: Friday 17 Oct or Friday 24 Oct 

Time: 3.00 - 5.30pm  If you finish your work you can leave earlier.

Cost: $560 ($70pp x 8) - includes tutor time, materials and two firings

Age Limit:14+

Number requirement: 8 attendees (message me with your preferred date and numbers if you have more than 8) 

What to bring: Cloth apron if you have one and a closed drink bottle if you are likely to get thirsty.
