Christmas tree ‘T’ lights - Sun 12 Oct (Morn)

These trees will make any Christmas feel warm and joyful! Adding light and happiness to your home as a Christmas table centrepiece, or mantle scape. Perfect in daylight and glowing by night with an LED tea light (not included). These individual unique trees make perfect gifts, for someone else or for you! 

Workshop description

Come and join in a Christmas themed, fun, pottery workshop. In this workshop you will create one or two (size dependent), hand built Christmas tree table decorations using the simple technique of slabbing. Get creative and add additional feature shapes to really make your tree festive! Finally choose your own accent of colour on top of a white glossy glaze to really make your pieces memorable. No previous experience necessary. Once your items are dry and fully fired (4 wks later), you will be able to collect them from CAC.  All you need is a willingness to give it a go and maybe a family member or your bestie!

NB# Images are previous students interpretations. Your tutor may guide you in a different direction (clay and glazes offered).

Venue:

CAC( Climate Action Campus) Rm E5 Enviro Art and Clay, 180 Avonside Drive, Avonside, CHCH - you will be sent a map and instructions of how to find us about a week prior to your workshop.

Date: Sun 12 Oct 

Time: 9.30 - 12.00pm  If you finish your work you can leave earlier.

Cost: $70pp - includes tutor time, materials and two firings

Age Limit:14+

What to bring: Cloth apron if you have one and a closed drink bottle if you are likely to get thirsty.

Max of 10 students per workshop
