Term 4 Beginners Pottery Eve Course - Tuesday
Have you ever wanted to work with clay but not known where to start, or forgotten all you ever knew? Then this is the course for you! Our beginner's course is suited to any adult (18yrs+) that has an interest in being creative and wants to reconnect with this side of their personality .
Course Description
Our tutor, Nikki teaches in a systematic way - usually demonstration first then group practice. For most students it takes a whole course to acquire some basic skills. You will produce some simple hand built pieces as part of your learning. This wonderful introduction covers pinch pots, slab building, decorating and glazing. You will work with the theme of homewares. You will create small bowls/dishes, a platter, a planter and a pair of cups. These items will bring character to your home or if you feel you want to give them away they will make unforgettable gifts.
NB# Images are previous students interpretations of homewares created throughout the course. Your tutor may guide you in a different direction
