T3/26 Thursday After School Pottery Classes (Ages 9–16)
Small classes, big imaginations, and plenty of muddy hands!
Join NikkiWBCeramics at Climate Action Campus for hands-on pottery classes designed for rangatahi aged 9–16. In these relaxed, small-group classes, students learn hand-building techniques while creating unique ceramic pieces, building confidence, creativity, and practical skills.
No previous pottery experience is needed—all abilities are welcome.
How It Works
Each project is taught over a 3-week block:
-
Weeks 1 & 2: Make your project using hand-building techniques.
-
Week 3: Glaze (colour) your fired work before its final kiln firing.
Along the way, students will discover how clay transforms from soft earth into finished ceramics through the firing process.
Each 3-week block features a different project, so students are welcome to enrol in one block or join us for the whole term to continue building their skills, confidence, and creativity.
