Term 1 Pottery Sculpture Thursday Evening
This course is split into two 4wk blocks. You can choose to sign up for both blocks or just one. Up to you! Block 1 will give you the chance to craft a unique piece that looks good enough to eat and Block 2 will be an equally rewarding experience, especially for those who appreciate the beauty of the natural world.
What to Expect
In the first block (4wks) you'll start by sculpting your own fun clay ice cream, complete with a stand that mirrors the real thing! Our expert instructor will guide you through each step, from shaping the perfect scoop to adding delightful details.
In the second block (4wks), you will sculpt a New Zealand gecko/skink or tuatara. This allows a further opportunity to learn sculpting techniques while hearing stories about conservation of our precious taonga.
