Slab Vase - 8/March/26

Workshop Description

In this fun and relaxed workshop, you’ll create a hand-built vase using the slab-building technique. You will have four hours to make and an hr for lunch. We will start by rolling out the clay then cutting your slab pieces. We will then take a break for lunch to allow your slabs to harden. After lunch we will return for an hour and a half to assemble your vase, refine and apply underglazes for colour. This workshop is for beginners and intermediate potters alike and will be fun.

Workshop Details

• Date & Time:  8 March 10.30 - 3.30pm (Feel free to leave early once you’re finished, or stick around)
• Tutor: Nikki
• Cost: $135 per person (Includes all materials, your tutor’s expert guidance, and two firings) Bring your own lunch.
• Age Limit: 16+

What to Bring: Just a cloth apron if you have one, and a closed drink bottle to stay refreshed while you get creative!
