Do you have a desire to reduce your use of plastic or paper in your kitchen? Then these beginners clay workshops are for you! Come along and hand build useful items that will last forever.

Workshop descriptions
Workshop 1 - egg tray holder
Workshop 2 - lemon squeezer
Create an egg tray holder and/or a lemon squeezer while learning the pottery hand building techniques of slab building and pinching. Choose your own accent of colour on top of a white glossy glaze, leaving a small area unglazed. No previous experience necessary. Once your items are dry and fully fired you will be able to collect them from CAC( Climate Action Campus). This usually takes 3 wks.
All materials and firing are included in the pricing. You just need to bring a willingness to give it a go and maybe a family member or your bestie!
Venue:
CAC( Climate Action Campus) Rm E5 Enviro Art and Clay - you will be sent a map and instructions of how to find us about a week prior to your workshop.
Dates:
Workshop 1: Egg tray holder Sunday 17 August 9.30 - 11.30am
and/or
Workshop 2: Lemon Squeezer - Sunday 17 August 1.00 - 3.00pm
If you finish earlier you are welcome to leave.
Cost: $55pp per workshop - includes tutor time, materials and two firings
Age Limit:14+
What to bring: Cloth apron if you have one and a closed drink bottle if you are likely to get thirsty
Max of 8 students per workshop
